Once again, I’m getting ready for Camp NaNoWriMo and this time, instead of working on finishing up “The Beginning of the End” (The sequel to “The Summer of Our Discontent”), I’m going to be working on “Classical Compositions” (which is the first story in the series iPod Shuffle).
“Classical Compositions” is actually the remake of my serial novel series “Temmy & Venus”; yet this time, the story takes place in modern-day America. Melissa Brentmore (who loves classic rock) and her brothers Bailey and Colin are stuck living with a cruel uncle and an uncaring aunt after a family tragedy on September 11, 2001. But when an unexpected relative shows up and takes the kids away from their home in Minnesota and goes to Burbank, California, Melissa finds herself stuck in a world full of kids who are more in tune to today’s pop culture and dismissing classic music as “too old-fashioned”. Plus, with a mystery gripping the town and other things, Melissa certainly has her work cut out for her.
So now you know. I’ll be sure to have this story written out and completed before the end of the month. As for “All In One Friendship”, I’m taking a week off from writing that story, since it burned up my imagination.
I’ll be back tomorrow!
