NaNoEdMo, Day 24

Ok, now I have a crazy idea for the rewriting of the story, which I will be doing at the same time as me writing the third part of the parody.

Celevus Pate is Tarcey’s father and he does NOT approve of the singing. In fact, he doesn’t hesitate to hand out detentions to anyone he catches singing, and he’s not afraid to punish his own son for his misbehavior. (which happens when rumors about him and Junia bullying the Grim Trio reaches his ears.

Also, Silch has his own agenda on punishing the Grim Trio for hating the Larry Dobber series enough to force the school to stop reading the books. But that’s not this blog post.

I expect that the new and improved “Really Stupid Sequel” will run at about 30,000 words by the time I’m finished writing it. I know that “Harry Moffer & the Class That Can’t Keep it Together” will be about 28,000 words. (I’ll have to spend about 2 hours every day writing the two books simutaneously in order to get the job done.)

So there you have that. (Plus, Pate shows Harry no sympathy for various reasons.)

My books Cthulhu Returns, Harry Moffer & the Dumbest Story Ever, and The Summer of Our Discontent are available on
