In the story Remaking “The Hobbit”, Princess Jacquelyn Ritterwolff and her older sister, Saphira Tolsworth, experience the pains of adulthood when Jacquelyn turns 18 years old. That’s when she rejects a marriage proposal from Legolas and humiliates her cousin, Oliver Harlequin-Grantley. (Of course, Jacquelyn’s older brother Sameth Tolsworth and best friend Sabrina Haettenschwiller elope when no one is looking.)
The next year, Jacquelyn and her friends Harry, Ron, and Hermione are in college when Gandalf invites them to go on another adventure. Jacquelyn and Ron are reunited with their friends Katniss Evendeen, Peeta Mellark, Percy Jackson, Grover Underwood, Annabeth Chase, Tyson, Simon Lewis, Alec Lightwood, Clary Fray, Isabelle Lightwood, and Jace Wayland. They all end up meeting Thorin Oakenshield and his company when they all meet in Rivendell. A few chapters later, we find the group battling goblins, orcs, and storm giants, throwing wild parties, fighting spiders and elves, and even hearing some shocking revelations from Jacquelyn herself. (As well as a terrible reference to Five Nights at Freddy’s.)
Plus, Jacquelyn was the only person who knew how evil Bilbo’s ring was (yet no one allowed her to do anything about it).
That’s only half the story, as the other half comes next week.
