Serial Saturdays: Growing Up Josie

I’m currently on Episode 7 of The Teen Rebels and from the looks of it, Josie Tremlett-Kahn isn’t your average teenager at all. Instead of fitting in with her classmates, Josie does whatever it takes to stand out, which includes her friendship with three undesirable people (a.k.a. Seth Burke, Moira Downing, and Trixie Kalbrunner), standing up for her friend Jacey Mayford, and trying to keep the memory of Carter McMillan alive, even after most of the people living in Montagne Beach had forgotten about him.

But out of all the things that we’ve seen Josie do, we don’t have much of a clue as to who she is or where she came from. I have established her birthdate as January 3, 1975, and that she wasn’t born in Montagne Beach, California. I also included references to the Iranian revolution that sent her family from its village in Iran to the United States, which Josie’s grandfather isn’t too happy about.

As the story progresses, we will know more about Josie and who she is as a character as she grows from a nonconforming girl to (hopefully) a mature character.
