Book Editing, Day 13

I’m now in the process of editing 2010 NaNoWriMo novel, Harry Potter Ruined My Town; it is one of my very controversial stories because this story treats the Harry Potter fans as if they are drug addicts (and there is a such thing as an addiction to Harry Potter).

First off, the main character, Daniel Dickens, gives us a commentary about how his town was obsessed with Harry Potter to the point of madness. He even describes the story of Adam Merle Wilkins, a boy who really hated Harry Potter to the extreme and what happened when he is believed to have died during a festival honoring Harry Potter.

Second, I really need to put some conversations in the story just to break up the monotony.

Thirdly, I need to show up how Daniel manages to thwart his desires to read the Harry Potter books, despite the fact that people everywhere want him and his family to obsess over Harry Potter as they are.

So, there’s that.

And yes, you’re welcome to buy my books Harry Moffer & the Dumbest Story Ever and The Summer of Our Discontent on Smashwords.com.

The coupons:
QC39P – Harry Moffer & the Dumbest Story Ever
HH42W – The Summer of Our Discontent

(Note: coupons expire on March 18, 2014, so you better hurry if you want your free copy of the two books.)
