Book Editing, Day 3

Yesterday, I took a good long look at my 2012 NaNoWriMo novel, Magical Compositions. Here’s what I have on the story so far:

Stats:

  • Last Chapter written: Chapter 12
  • Finished: no
  • Words written: 50,044
  • Why is the story not finished: because the story is getting too far ahead of itself. Plus, I really need to rewrite the story and get rid of some unnecessary plotlines and characters. I don’t know if I’m going to write this story.

Now you know, and this is why you should learn to plan ahead BEFORE you get to your computer and start typing.

And yes, you’re welcome to buy my books Harry Moffer & the Dumbest Story Ever on Amazon.com and The Summer of Our Discontent on Smashwords.com.
